Paint Your Own Pottery

Do I need a reservation or can I walk in?

Both are welcome! Walk-ins are always encouraged, though please keep in mind we may have a private party or event happening. Not to worry — we have a second painting room so there's almost always a spot for you!

Do I need any painting experience?

Not at all! No experience necessary — that's what we're here for! 🎨 Jessica will guide you through the entire process to help bring your vision to life. All skill levels are welcome!

How long does it take to paint a piece?

Painting typically takes anywhere from 1–3 hours depending on the piece you choose and how detailed you want to get. We also have LEGOs and magnets available for little ones to enjoy while others finish up! 🧱

Is there a studio fee on top of the piece price?

Nope! Our pricing is all-inclusive — no hidden fees or studio charges. The price of your piece covers everything. What you see is what you pay!

How much does pottery painting cost?

Pricing ranges from $5 for flat ornaments up to $50 for larger pieces, with most pieces averaging around $20. There's something for every budget!

When will my piece be ready?

Pieces are typically ready for pickup within 2–3 weeks. During peak seasons like summer and Christmas, wait times may be a little longer. We'll text or call you as soon as your piece is ready!

How long do I have to pick up my piece?

You have 30 days from the date we contact you to pick up your item. After 30 days, unclaimed pieces may be donated or used in studio events. Unfortunately we don't have the storage space to hold items indefinitely — we wish we did! 😊

Summer Art Camps

What ages are your summer art camps for?

Our camps are designed for kids ages 5–12. 🎨

What are the 2026 camp dates and themes?

All 2026 summer camp dates and themes are listed under the Summer Camps section on our website at paintandfire.net. Spots fill up fast so grab yours early!

What should my child bring to camp?

Just pack them a lunch and send them in older clothes you don't mind getting messy — we work with paints and materials that may not fully wash out. We do provide aprons, but art happens! We take care of snacks and drinks throughout the day. That's it — we handle the rest!

What are the drop-off and pick-up times?

Standard drop-off is at 8:00am and pick-up is at 3:00pm. Need a little more flexibility? We offer Early Drop-off starting at 7:00am and Late Pick-up until 4:00pm, both available for an additional fee.

Do you offer sibling discounts?

Yes! We offer $50 off for each additional sibling camp registration. It's our way of making art accessible for the whole family! 🎨

What will my child be doing at camp?

So much amazing art! 🎨 Campers explore a wide variety of mediums and techniques including:

  • Hand building with clay
  • Canvas painting
  • Watercolor
  • Resist painting
  • Batik on fabric
  • Sculpture
  • Glazing ceramic pieces
  • Drawing with alcohol markers and colored pencils
  • Hand sewing
  • And so much more!

Some themed weeks focus on one medium (like our Pottery week or Hand Sewing week), but most weeks are a wonderful mix of different art forms. Our camps are led with the heart of a teacher — our owner Jessica was an art educator for nearly 10 years! 🎨

Can my child with autism attend summer art camp?

Absolutely — every child deserves the chance to experience the joy of art! 🎨 We are open to welcoming children with autism and will work closely with families to set everyone up for success. Here's how we approach it:

  • A familiar para, aide, or trusted family member is welcome to stay with your child throughout camp
  • We'll share which weeks have lighter, less overwhelming activities so you can choose the best fit
  • We invite you to visit the studio beforehand so your child can see the space, meet Jessica, and feel comfortable before camp begins
  • We ask that you try the first day before committing to the full week — this gives your child a chance to experience camp firsthand and helps us all make sure it's the right fit

We want this to be a positive experience for your child and your family. Please reach out directly to discuss your child's specific needs so we can plan together! 💛

What if my child has allergies?

Your child's safety is our top priority! As someone who personally understands the challenges of food allergies, owner Jessica takes every allergy seriously. Here's what we ask:

  • Note all allergies on the registration form
  • Email or text Jessica directly so she can be extra aware and prepared
  • Jessica will notify other camp parents requesting they avoid sending anything containing the allergen — keeping everyone safe without singling anyone out
  • Your child's identity and allergy information will never be shared with other families

We are committed to creating a safe, inclusive environment for every camper. 💛

What is your refund and cancellation policy?

We understand that plans change! If you need to cancel, please communicate directly with owner Jessica Broussard within 10 days of your camp start date. We will do our best to accommodate extenuating circumstances on a case-by-case basis.

How do I register for a camp?

You can register directly on our website at paintandfire.net. Once you complete your purchase, you'll receive a confirmation email with a link to our required registration form — please complete one form per child!

Birthday Parties

What's included in a birthday party?

Check out our birthday party packages on our website at paintandfire.net for full details on what's included in each package!

Can I decorate before the party?

Absolutely! You're welcome to arrive 30 minutes before your party to set up and decorate. We provide solid colored tablecloths, but you're welcome to bring your own to match your theme!

Can we bring our own food and drinks?

Yes! You're welcome to bring your own food, drinks, and of course — cake! 🎂 Our painting portion takes about 1 to 1.5 hours, and the remaining time is yours to enjoy cake, presents, food, and celebrating!

What is the deposit and payment policy?

A $75 deposit is required to reserve your date. The remaining balance is due the day of your event.

What if my guest count changes?

We totally understand headcounts shift! Here's how it works:

  • If you end up with more guests than booked, additional participants are $15 per person
  • If you end up with significantly fewer, we'll work it out with you
  • If you're just slightly under your booked number (10 or 20 person party), the full package price still applies

Can adults paint too?

Yes! Whether it's parents or whoever the host decides — everyone is welcome to pick up a brush and paint a piece! 🎨

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking as far in advance as possible to secure your preferred date — especially for weekends! That said, we've accommodated many last-minute parties, so it never hurts to reach out and ask. We'll always do our best to make it work! 🎉

Can you host two parties at the same time?

Yes! We have two separate rooms — one that fits up to 10 people and one that fits up to 40 people — so we can host two completely separate parties simultaneously without any overlap.

Do you host events outside of regular business hours?

We have hosted many events outside of regular business hours! Availability depends on our schedule and any off-site events we may have, but we will always try to accommodate when we can. Just reach out and ask — the answer might surprise you! 🎨

Private Events & Team Building

How many people can you accommodate?

We can host private events and team building for a minimum of 5 people up to a maximum of 40 people.

How do I book a private event or team building experience?

A $75 deposit is required to secure your booking. Events are typically booked for 2–3 hours. Contact us to check availability and get started!

Can we have a theme or specific piece for our event?

Absolutely! You have two options:

  • Choose a specific piece or theme (perfect for book clubs, religious events, bachelorette parties, corporate teams, and more!) — this must be decided at least 3 weeks before your event so we have time to order pieces and prepare stencils
  • Let guests choose their own piece and pay for it individually upon arrival

Can we bring food and drinks?

Yes! You're welcome to bring your own food and drinks. We set up a table with a black tablecloth for food and beverages as needed. 🍷

Who is responsible for damages during the event?

The host is responsible for any broken pieces or damages that occur during or at the conclusion of the event. We ask that all guests handle pieces with care!

Do you host events outside of regular business hours?

Absolutely! We have hosted many events outside of regular business hours. Availability depends on our schedule, but we will always try to accommodate when we can. Just reach out and ask!
